Individual Coverage

Short-term individual medical coverage is a viable alternative to Cobra continuation and can serve as bridge coverage until coverage under another group medical plan begins. Employees who meet the following criteria could benefit from short-term individual medical coverage:

• COBRA
• Part-Time Employees
• Layoffs, Downsizing
• Recent College Graduates
• Non-Eligible IRS Dependent
• Employee Requiring Temporary/Gap Insurance

There are few medical questions to answer but please note that pre-existing conditions are not covered and are specifically excluded. This offer is not available in: Delaware, Hawaii, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Vermont and Puerto Rico.
